Who you are
- Significant senior marketing leadership experience (VP‑level or equivalent) in a B2B enterprise SaaS business
- A proven track record of building and scaling marketing functions in high‑growth environments
- Deep expertise in enterprise demand generation and account‑based marketing
- Strong instincts for positioning, messaging and storytelling, with a clear link to commercial outcomes
- Experience partnering closely with Sales on enterprise GTM and revenue growth
- Comfort operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels
- Experience building and leading hybrid, international teams
- Highly data‑driven, with strong understanding of marketing analytics and performance measurement
- Excellent communicator, able to influence at executive, Board and customer level

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a world‑class VP Marketing to lead and scale 9fin’s global marketing function
- Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a critical executive role responsible for owning our end‑to‑end marketing strategy - from positioning and product marketing, through demand generation and ABM, to brand, events, PR/AR/IR and customer engagement
- You’ll be both a strategic leader and a hands‑on operator: setting direction, building a high‑performing team, and personally driving high‑impact initiatives. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product and Customer Success to ensure tight go‑to‑market alignment as we scale from ~$50m ARR to $150m+
- This role spans North America, EMEA and APAC, and is ideal for a senior SaaS marketer who thrives in high‑growth, complex enterprise environments
- Define and execute 9fin’s global marketing vision across product marketing, demand generation, ABM, brand, content, communications and customer marketing
- Build a predictable, metrics‑driven demand engine that supports sustained pipeline and revenue growth
- Own the full marketing tech stack and ensure data, attribution and reporting drive clear decision‑making
- Design and run sophisticated account‑based marketing programmes for our largest enterprise customers
- Use data and insight to identify, prioritise and penetrate key accounts with highly personalised messaging
- Partner tightly with Sales and Customer Success to drive pipeline creation, conversion and expansion
- Establish clear success metrics across pipeline impact, conversion and retention
- Own 9fin’s positioning and narrative as we define and lead a new category
- Translate deep customer and market insight into compelling messaging that resonates with senior decision‑makers
- Lead competitive intelligence and feed clear market insight back into Product and Sales
- Establish 9fin and its leaders as trusted voices in the credit and capital markets ecosystem
- Lead our global events strategy, including field, industry and conversion‑focused events
- Ensure events, sponsorships and partnerships deliver measurable impact on pipeline and market share
- Oversee PR, analyst relations, investor communications and corporate storytelling
- Act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, leadership team and Board
- Help scale the company through a period of rapid growth and increasing complexity
- Build, mentor and inspire a high‑performing global marketing team
- Champion a culture of clarity, ownership, humility and high standards
Our take
9fin’s initial aim was to solve the problem of extracting data out of financial documents. It quickly turned to AI, where computer vision tools can be deployed to find key financial data point quickly and automatically.
Its AI tools learn to understand the complicated legal clauses in contracts, automating a lot of the manual work that's usually involve in this space. 9fin also has a team of journalists and analysts who product news and analysis that help make sense of complex situations. The result is an integrated platform that debt capital market professionals can use to make quicker and better investment decisions.
9fin is used by leading banks, hedge funds, and asset managers around the world. The company has seen significant investment, the most recent of which will support the scaling of its team and expansion of its product into new asset classes, as well as helping it to grow its presence in the US, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.

- Overcommunicate: Don’t leave people in the dark. It’s better to receive a 10 second note saying “Super busy, but I’ll get to it.” than radio silence
- Family & health come first: No customer or job matters more than family and your health
