Role
Who you are
- Currently enrolled in a college/university Bachelor or Master program in Computer Science or similar (i.e. you have not graduated and will be continuing with school after this internship)
- Completed a minimum of two years of college/university
- Experience with Python (or similar programming language)
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL (MySQL, Postgres, etc.)
- Solid understanding of math and basic statistics
- Able to commit to a minimum of 10-weeks of summer internship between May and August 2025
What the job involves
- As a full-time Software Engineer Intern, you will join one of our backend engineering teams for the Summer
- In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of new and existing product features across our media buying and measurement platform
- This is a chance to build products, with a high degree of freedom, that will generate immediate impact to our customers
- Work with our backend and data teams to develop new features, analytics, and data systems
- Focus on a combination of systems tooling, data automation, data analysis and statistics, and transforming messy real-world data into elegant results

Television advertising has changed dramatically since it first began, with advertisement campaigns growing in scale, having increasingly large budgets, and migrating to modern alternatives such as CTV. Despite these increased demands, television advertising remains antiquated relative to the modern data-driven campaigns of mobile platform ads, presenting opportunities for innovations within the industry.
Tatari provides a TV and CTV advertisement data and analytics platform, helping clients to future-proof their advertisement campaigns through real-time data-driven approaches. The company achieves this by providing a dashboard for analyzing the success of campaigns, facilitating data-driven media buying, and managing on-demand CTV campaign changes, ultimately aiming to digitize the TV advertisement process.
Whilst it is undeniable that Tatari faces competition from providers of TV advertisement analytic platforms, media buying platforms, and other data-driven solutions, it has been smart to unify such tools into an all-in-one digital TV advertisement management dashboard. The company shows great potential to help clients future-proof the way they run TV ads, and has been busy expanding its product suite and licensing portfolio through 2022 and 2023.
