- Recently graduated from an accredited college/university in a business or technology-related field
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, marketing, consulting, or a related field
- Previous experience working within a B2B SaaS or technology solutions company
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Ideally has used sales tech –stack before for outreach cadence building tasks
- Confidence in leading sales qualification calls and has the ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Experience using a customer relationship management application (CSM) to track sales pipeline activities

What the job involves
- The Inbound Sales Development Representative is a key member of the Revenue Operations team at Zensai, with having a direct reporting line with the Global SDR Manager as well as having a dotted line directly to the EMEA regions, requiring close collaboration with our tightly knit Sales Teams
- The Inbound SDR is responsible for qualifying all Inbound leads with the goal of generating Sales Qualified Opportunities into the sales pipeline. This includes managing high-intent MQLs such as demo requests, to lower intent leads, such as attending a webinar or nurturing leads where they may have visited our website
- With training and guidance, you will begin responding to inbound requests using phone and virtual meetings, practicing active listening to best understand customer challenges and goals and qualifying leads using B.A.N.T methodology
- Once you are fully onboarded, your role will also expand to include contributing to local marketing activities, such as virtual and physical events, as well as building proactive nurture campaigns to target older leads or partnering with Sales on key initiatives
- A day in the life of a SDR at Zensai!
- You start your day with your go-to morning drink and check the latest inbound sales requests for the EMEA region. Your goal? Reach out and book meetings or demos for the Sales team. You’ll be working with solid tools like SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Dynamics/Teams to help you do it
- When you're on a call, you focus on listening. You ask smart questions to understand the prospect’s key challenges and priorities and figure out if Zensai might be a fit. To help guide the conversation, you’ll use a simple B.A.N.T. framework to qualify leads before handing them off for a Discovery call with a Sales Exec
- In the afternoon, you might join forces with other SDRs, Sales Executives, and Business Managers, or check in with the Marketing team to align on upcoming campaigns and webinars—and plan how to support them in your region
- You’ll also carve out time to reconnect with older leads. Using ZoomInfo, you’ll build tailored email and LinkedIn outreach to open new doors—whether it’s reviving past interest or teaming up with Sales and Customer Success to explore upsell or cross-sell opportunities
- Each week, you’ll get 1:1s focused on your goals and growth, along with regular coaching sessions—sometimes one-on-one, sometimes as a team. You’ll also join enablement sessions to keep sharpening your skills

- Within an average of 35 days, you’ll know if it’s a “Yes, please!” or a “Maybe later” for joining our team

Our take
As the global race for talent heats up, companies are looking more closely at ways to upskill their employees through tailored training courses. However, engagement can be spotty, as unfamiliar tools and awkward interfaces can easily put off learners. Enter Zensai, a learning management system built to meet learners where they already are, with tools that they use in their everyday work.
Zensai is not a new company - since 2009 (when it was known as Elearningforce) it has been embedded in Microsoft products, at first in Sharepoint but more currently in the Office 365 suite and Teams. This tight integration gives it an advantage over competitors such as Workday or Eloomi, where users need to adapt to a new environment (and remember to tab over to it!). This means Zensai doesn't need to focus on developing integrations with other ecosystems, and gives it an enormous addressable market of a third of a billion users.
Already boasting a large customer base including enterprises such as Pepsi, Maersk and Hellmann, Zensai has raised funding in an investment round led by Blue Cloud Ventures. This investment will be used in a major growth drive, fuelling expansion through strategic acquisitions in the US, Germany and Australia. It seems well poised to build a commanding lead in the learning management space.
