Who you are

3 - 5 years experience in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL
3 - 5 years experience in HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript (ES6+)
Experience with Agile project management
Experience with optimizing web performance at scale
Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards

What the job involves

Implement new user-facing features using modern ES6+ and Rails 6.0+ best practices, including View Components and Stimulus
Design and implement backend systems supporting common user workflows, including artwork management, customized branding, and receiving payments
Participate in Product/Design discovery exercises to better understand user needs
Contribute to technical project management through writing and reviewing implementation proposals, breaking down work into actionable tickets, and debriefing at regular retrospective meetings
Maintain application reliability by writing automated tests and working with your team to QA new features and bug fixes
Ensure quality by engaging in collaborative code reviews with your engineering peers
Optimize user experience through site performance analysis
