Role
Who you are
- Formlabs is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Associate to join our Recruiting team with a focus on candidate experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a recruiting, HR, or administrative role; experience with interview scheduling or recruiting coordination is a plus
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail, ensuring all recruitment documentation and communication is correct
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR colleagues, and work effectively in a team environment
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot scheduling issues and propose solutions quickly
- Time Management: Strong time management skills to handle multiple scheduling requests and deadlines efficiently
What the job involves
- In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the talent acquisition process by coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate communications, and ensuring a smooth and efficient recruiting process
- You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to provide an excellent candidate experience and help Formlabs attract top talent
- Interview Scheduling: Coordinate interviews, lunch and travel for candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
- Candidate Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates, answering questions, and guiding them through the interview process
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain accurate records in Greenhouse ATS, including candidate statuses, interview feedback, and recruitment metrics
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to identify and implement improvements in the recruitment process to enhance efficiency and candidate experience
- Reporting: Generate and maintain recruitment-related reports such as hiring metrics, time-to-fill, and diversity data
- Recruitment Support: Assist with sourcing candidates, conducting initial candidate screenings, creating job postings, and managing communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
Our take
Formlabs' founders met at MIT in 2011, and set about creating a company that would disrupt the 3D printing market. While the majority of the industry was experiencing a crash, Formlabs managed to buck the trend by implementing additive manufacturing (stereolithography) to a desktop form factor.
While many 3D printing manufacturers have tried in vain to market their hardware to home users, Formlabs has maintained a laser-sharp focus on serving the needs of professionals and large-scale companies such as Coke and Sony. Striving to keep costs low while maintaining an optimal user experience, the company has sold well over 100,000 printers.
With considerable funding at its back, Formlabs has continued to develop new solutions such as a series of mass manufacturing solutions that enable its customers to dramatically increase their 3D printing output. As the largest supplier of professional SLA and SLS 3D printers in the world, the company is well set to further its position and achieve further global growth.
