Role
Who you are
- Experience in platform-level vulnerability hardening / testing in Linux based systems
- Skilled with security auditing and risk assessment
- In-depth understanding of authentication, security protocols and applied cryptography
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience
- 3+ years of experience with software development in one or more languages, and data structures / algorithms
- 1+ year of experience building software for data privacy or security on Linux based systems
- Experience in cryptography, application/system security focussed on embedded systems development
Desirable
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Experience with Trusted execution platforms such as ARM Trustzone
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join OS Security team at Snap Inc!
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders and to enhance device security and user privacy
- Design and build security solutions to facilitate secure manufacturing of Spectacles
- Research, design and develop cutting edge security features to enhance the security posture for Spectacles
- Improve infrastructure for fuzzing and automate security validation
