GTM Finance & Strategy Analyst, Stripe

• 4+ years of work experience within investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or other business insights / analytics roles
• 2+ years experience with SQL (intermediate/advanced skills are a must)
• 2+ years experience working with large and complex datasets
• Deep analytical rigor, focused on bringing clarity through business insights. Ability to find never-before-seen trends hidden in millions of data points
• A self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision. You must be able to partner with cross-functional teams to unblock things
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (interacting with Stripe C-Suite)
• You have business proficiency in written and spoken English

Desirable

• Go-to-Market (GTM) Finance & Strategy (F&S) brings understanding and predictability to Stripe’s top line financials
• We work closely with our GTM business partners (Sales, Marketing, Sales Ops, etc) to discover trends in the business and improve Stripe for the long haul
• This role is on the Marketing & Self-Serve GTM F&S team
• We partner with the Marketing, Sales Development (SD), and Self-Serve (Growth) Orgs by providing finance support to questions like what is our ROI, why did we beat our target in America, or how should Stripe think about investing in EMEA
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to drive the success of Stripe’s GTM motions
• Create frameworks to assess, influence current and future business performance
• Build and own financial forecast models, set targets, and understand deviations in performance of actuals to drive strategy and operational rigor
• Develop recommendations on resource allocations and investment/ROI frameworks
• Define metrics and leading indicators of business performance
• Partner with Data Science teams to develop reporting dashboards
