Who you are
- You must be able to prove to us that you are:
- Organised: You’ll be collecting feedback from multiple sources in real time and organising this so we can provide the most value with the least effort.
- Intelligent: You’ll be looking for patterns in feedback to find solutions that eradicate the root causes of problems, not just patch them over.
- A strong communicator: You must be able to write and speak about technical ideas and decisions clearly, adjusting to your audience’s level of expertise.
- Enthusiastic: You'll need to understand our product, and care deeply about its success.
Desirable
- Experience with tools we use regularly, such as Notion and Figma.
- Experience building web-based legal software.
What the job involves
- Your job is to own our product, ensuring we build the right thing at the right time.
- You’ll be constantly collecting feedback and problems to solve, and distilling these down into projects and tasks for our engineers to build (or remove). You’ll be setting priorities based on the company’s biggest needs. And you’ll be the glue for Nomio, communicating and defending your decisions, internally and externally.
- You won’t be doing this on your own. Uniquely, the biggest users of our product will be sitting next to you (our Document Programmers). Our engineers love to get stuck into all aspects of research and design. And everyone at Nomio has ideas about what our product should do.
- We’re not interested in your PRINCE2 accreditation, or whether you’re a Scrum Master; we’re looking for someone to care deeply about our product and craft it into something beautiful.

The global Legal Services industry was recently valued at $901.8 billion. However, most legal documents currently have a Word or PDF format, which makes it difficult for stakeholders to analyse and organise the obligations, risks and liability information trapped within them.
Nomio aims to solve this problem by distilling documents to their raw text and structure. The company captures essential information from disorganised contracts, with over 99% accuracy, simplifying the process by transforming legal contracts into an accurate, structured contract repository. This allows users to export and glean data from documents, each customer repository being tailored to their individual needs. Users can turn the relevant information into a spreadsheet or even integrate it with different systems via Nomio's API.
With backing from top investors including Kindred, Sequoia, and Ascension Ventures, Nomio is now a profitable company. It is investing funding into hiring new talent and increasing its customer acquisition operations.
