Who you are
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (agency or in-house)
- Experience working at a high-growth startup or fast-paced, scaling company
- Comfortable juggling 2-5 open roles at a time
- Proven ability to hire for IC and mid-to-senior level roles across departments
- High attention to detail and discernment in candidate evaluation
- Sales-minded: persuasive, competitive, and results-driven
- Strong project management and prioritization skills
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote, fast-moving environment
What the job involves
- We’re hiring a full-cycle Recruiter to drive 2+ hires per month across multiple teams. You’ll own 2–5 active searches at a time, helping us scale efficiently while maintaining a high-quality bar

- You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, streamline recruiting processes, and elevate the candidate experience — all while championing Clever’s employer brand
- As we grow across multiple departments, we need an experienced recruiter who can move quickly while continuously improving the quality and efficiency of our hiring process
- This is a high-impact role with visibility across the company — and a great opportunity to shape how recruiting is done at Clever. We’re looking for someone who brings clarity, confidence, and momentum to every search
- This role sits within our People Team and is designed to increase our hiring capacity as we continue to scale
- Own 2–5 active roles at once, driving 2+ hires per month
- Lead job kickoffs, create compelling job descriptions, and support interview plans
- Source and engage passive candidates across multiple platforms
- Manage end-to-end hiring processes: interviews, feedback, references, and offers
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure smooth, timely pipelines
- Enhance candidate experience and reduce time-to-fill without sacrificing quality
- Build and maintain a warm candidate pipeline for high-volume roles
Our take
Real estate commissions have been kept artificially high for decades as a result of uncomfortableness from consumers to negotiate and archaic pricing systems. Clever is changing all that with its discount brokerage service.
Using an algorithm along with “concierge” staffers, Clever matches homeowners with agents who have experience in their price range and neighborhood. As a result, agents get more sales and Clever effectively negotiates on behalf of the consumer.
It competes with other discount brokerages like Redfin, which attracts customers through aggregated realtor-sanctioned listings and provides discounts to home sellers through eventual rebates. However, Clever is earning market share from Redfin through its differentiated strategies: intuitive customer experience and a portfolio of online content brands reaching millions of readers with expert real estate advice and education.
