Role
Who you are
- Our team will be strengthened by someone who, based on special communication skills, loves to interact with stakeholders, always sees improvements in processes, tackles recurring tasks as well as project work and loves to implement his/her/its own ideas
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or a related field
- You bring at least 3 years of experience in Management Consulting, Controlling or FP&A, ideally in a consulting company with focus in the Retail or Consumer Goods sector, or in an internationally oriented e-commerce company, and have solid experience in cost controlling and personnel expenses
- You implement quickly and develop faster, always with the ambition of meeting the needs of the company in the best possible way
- You love interacting with diverse stakeholders and sharing your financial knowledge
- You never stand still. You define the most pressing topics easily and are able to kick-start any project quickly by yourself. A hands-on, 80/20 mentality completes your profile
- You are fully proficient in English, German is a nice to have
What the job involves
- We are looking for support in our controlling team to assist all our stakeholders with financial issues as a financial business partner
- You are responsible to provide financial insights to your stakeholders as financial business partner for our support functions (Finance, Legal, Strategy & People and Culture) and thereby also have a special interest in the oversight and controlling of our personnel cost
- You ensure the quality, informative value and consistency of the prepared data as basis for business decisions
- You are responsible for company-wide projects and apply a 360 degree business mindset
- You act as a sparring partner, have cross-functional exchange and inspire with your can-do mentality
- You have profound knowledge of planning & reporting processes to achieve a higher efficiency
- You are responsible to build up & present new reports & bringing up own ideas to generate new financial insights for our managers and Execs

Everyone knows how important it is to drink water, but with so many alternative drinks available and global consumption of sugar at an all-time high, water is not often our first choice of hydration. The alternatives invariably contain untold amounts of sugar, additives, and more. So consumers are forced to choose between taste or health.
air up has developed a refillable bottle that turns plain tap water into flavoured water. By transporting scent through air and using the biological effect of retronasal olfaction, the brand has created an impression of taste that is actually scent. The idea redefines drinking water in a way that enables consumers to drink flavoured drinks that are additive-free and sugar-free.
The business aims to be conscious of people’s health and the environment. Compared to the average bottled drink, air up uses far less plastic. And, the small, lightweight scent Pods mean that the logistics are carbon-efficient and kinder to the planet. It's growing fast: so far, the startup has raised a total $67.8 million over the course of 5 funding rounds.
Since its launch on the market in July 2019, the company has already reached in excess of €100M in revenue and has served more than 1 million customers across Europe. This has already led to a huge reduction in single-use plastic and a decline in sugar consumption.
