Role
Who you are
- Experience delivering Large Language Model projects with customers, including LLM API integration, up-to-speed knowledge of foundation models, SFT (Supervised Fine-Tuning), prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-augmented generation) and / or measuring AI accuracy
- Five years + experience in solutions architecture or integrating multiple applications / data streams, or ML development within customer-facing roles
- Strong experience with Python
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields
- Solutioning: ability to develop and articulate an AI solution vision to technical and business stakeholders with customers and partners to match value proposition to business needs
- Thrived as a another fast-paced SaaS startup or scale-up during a high-growth phase
- Preferred to have: expertise with langchain and similar tools for multimodal AI projects
What the job involves
- As a Senior AI Solutions Engineer, you collaborate with sales teams to ensure key V7 customers achieve twice the impact in half the time. You will thrive on understanding technical leaders challenges and requirements and delivering complex solutions and POVs. You are a prototyper at heart with a gift of talking to customers, building relationships, and solving technical problems with repeatability
- You (Senior AI Solutions Engineer) will join a team a high performing team of four, supporting the wider sales team on key deals and customer proof-of-values. V7 is an self-serve product, however complex problems sometimes require complex solutions that customers don’t always see - that’s where you come in
- Solutions development and presentation: You will develop and present workflow implementations within V7 that combine prompt engineering, data ingestion pipelines, and format conversions, solving customer problems in image recognition, document processing, product development and more. You will present your findings to customers alongside sales
- Technical integrations: You will work with our product team to assist with the integration of new models and ML-Ops tools into V7
- Marketplace Integration: Develop and maintain the integration into major cloud marketplaces so users can more easily set up V7 on their cloud of choice
- Time management: Multi-task between up to 5 simultaneous projects delivered in short timeframes. You are a skilled multi-tasker and familiar with project management tools like Linear

V7 Labs is a computer vision platform that helps AI teams develop vision-based models that are learning continuously from training data with minimal human supervision.
V7 distinguishes itself in the market by condensing the most effective tools for organizing datasets into a single SaaS platform. The company says that using only 100 human-annotated examples in its toolkit can label the rest of the training data autonomously. Although its main business specialisations are in medicine and health sciences, its product is being picked up by tech companies in other sectors, and it now counts more than 300 customers including Siemens and GE Healthcare.
The startup has recently raised funding in a Series A round led by Radical Ventures and Temasek. It will use this investment to hire more engineering and sales talent, develop its product, and expand its market share.
