Role
Who you are
- We look for people who are smart, humble, motivated and who are always looking to improve
- Ability to organise, prioritise and manage tasks and diary
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal with a professional phone manner
- Taking pride in giving our clients the best in class service
- Competent in preparing and delivering meetings and presentations in person and virtually through webinars
- Not adverse to travel - the role may require you to travel via car and/or train and may involve overnight stays
- Pride in personal contribution but also a team player
- A ‘people person’ who is genuinely interested in developing relationships
- Previously demonstrated ability to take on new responsibilities or tasks and complete them to a high level
- Experience of dealing with third parties is desirable but not a prerequisite
What the job involves
- We’re expanding fast across our offices in London, Leeds and Frankfurt
- With all this growth, we’re looking for people who want to learn on the job and manage projects, knowing that your ideas will impact thousands of small businesses
- Predominantly building iwoca’s presence across the UK via engagement and activation of existing iwoca brokers
- Onboarding new brokers, ensuring they have a good experience in signing up with iwoca and helping them with their first set of applications
- Reacting to broker requests and being on hand to answer broker questions and queries for brokers outside of the remit of our relationship managers
- Educating brokers and running training sessions where appropriate to ensure they send us relevant customers and documentation
- Researching and searching for, acquiring and building new relationships with relevant brokers both by face to face, telephone, LinkedIn and email
- Attending broker and industry events which may be outside usual working hours
- To develop an understanding of iwoca's systems, processes and policies so that you can best advise the broker
