- Interest in cryptocurrency and the digital asset space and high-level knowledge of the underlying technology and the regulatory considerations applicable to the space
- Ability to spend the summer in (or commuting distance from) New York City
- Law students graduating between May 2027 and May 2028
- Students not enrolled in JD programs are not eligible to apply
What the job involves
- The Galaxy NYC Summer Internship Program is an immersive and exciting, nine-week experience taking place on-site in our New York HQ office. During the nine weeks, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on, practical work experience on our Legal & Compliance team. In addition to learning on the job, Galaxy interns participate in professional development programming, fun social events, and networking opportunities with senior leaders
- Assist in reviewing, drafting and revising legal documents relating to various transactions
- Work with members of the Legal & Compliance team to summarize the contents of legal documentation and agreements for applicable business units and propose recommendations to those business units regarding legal issues arising from such agreements
- Support members of the Legal & Compliance team in ongoing regulatory analyses and assessments with respect to various transactions and lines of business at Galaxy
- Update and maintain databases of legal documentation following the closing of various transactions
