Role
Who you are
- You’re a seasoned sales professional, with experience selling enterprise B2B SaaS technology
- You have proven success managing existing accounts, prospecting into new accounts and closing expansion opportunities
- You know how to gather requirements, understand customer use cases, set proper expectations, demo platforms, and manage an enterprise sales cycle
- You possess grit, hustle, desire, and a “get-it-done” attitude; strong comfort with a lean startup environment, where everyone is encouraged to participate in and contribute across all teams
- Dedication to the creation of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where teammates are celebrated for their unique perspectives and work together to simplify healthcare for all
- You’re a seasoned sales professional, with 4+ years of experience successfully selling enterprise B2B SaaS technology
- You have experience managing an existing book of business that includes enterprise and mid-market accounts, managing new logo acquisitions and renewals cycles
- You have prior experience and success in closing complex sales-cycles in the $250K - 1.5M ARR range
- Strong communication, negotiating and consultative sales skills
- You are comfortable with traveling to customers 20% of the time

- The Commercial team at H1 plays a crucial role in creating that future. It is our role to work in partnership with our colleagues and our customers to understand the most valuable products we can deliver to the market. We strive to deeply understand our customers’ needs, and our users’ workflows, to solve their problems in simple and novel ways
- As a Account Executive on our Enterprise Sales team, you will help drive our business to meet our revenue goals
- You’ll be working with stakeholders across the organization, and directly with customers, to understand our business, the markets we’re in and the needs of our users
- You will engage with top twenty pharmaceutical customer stakeholders, demonstrating the value of our platforms and partnerships to strengthen existing relationships and establish new ones, expanding our market leadership in the industry
- Develop and implement specific customer accounts and opportunity plans supporting company goals and quota objectives
- Manage and grow key client accounts by retaining existing revenue and expanding opportunities
- Drive new business development by identifying, engaging, and converting prospective clients into long-term partners
- Engage with C-suite executives and key decision-makers to align H1’s solutions with their strategic priorities
- Lead the sales process from outreach to close, including discovery calls, presentations, contract negotiations, and deal execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure seamless client experiences and successful implementations
- Track and report sales performance, providing accurate forecasts and strategic insights to support company growth objectives

Contrary to an increased emphasis on data privacy globally, within the healthcare industry governments are pushing for more data transparency. Additionally, the increasing costs and difficulty of drug discovery requires healthcare organizations and pharmaceutical companies to be able to quickly connect to professionals and thought leaders with specific credentials or research history. H1 addresses these needs by allowing life sciences companies, hospitals, and healthcare systems to locate the professionals they need.
H1 is the world’s largest healthcare database. It acts a bit like LinkedIn for healthcare professionals, and has already built a network of more than 9 million users. It has also built a corporate client base of 250 enterprises which is able to access its data which spans more than 250 million patients and over 10 billion health care claims.
The company graduated from Y Combinator's accelerator program in January 2020 and capped off a successful year by closing a Series B funding round that December. In 2021, H1 worked to further expand the company into Europe and Asia. Following a successful 2022 Series C round the company is focusing on building out its data network and hiring additional talent.
