Who you are

You're the ideal candidate if you are passionate about data, cloud technologies, and have a knack for solving complex problems while maintaining operational excellence
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role, with a focus on BI systems and architectures
Strong experience with BI tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and data warehousing solutions
Proficient in cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with experience in relevant services
Familiar with data pipeline and ETL concepts, tools, and best practices
Solid experience in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform or similar)
Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL
Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on root cause analysis and troubleshooting methodologies

What the job involves

Leadtech is on the lookout for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer specializing in Business Intelligence (BI) to join our dynamic team.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our BI platforms that empower data-driven decision-making across our organization
Design, implement, and maintain a robust BI infrastructure that supports scalable and reliable data analytics and reporting
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to optimize data pipelines and ensure seamless data flow in BI processes
Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively manage the health and performance of BI systems
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for BI project deployments while ensuring best practices in version control and documentation
Identify and troubleshoot issues in the BI ecosystem, contributing to continuous improvement in performance and reliability
Ensure that security, compliance, and governance practices are followed for all BI data and infrastructure
Contribute to the growth and maturity of the BI capabilities at Leadtech through mentoring and knowledge sharing with team members
Work cross-functionally to introduce BI best practices and improve overall data literacy throughout the organization
