What the job involves
- The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Compliance Specialist with a SaaS, professional services, or pre-sales background, who is ready to be part of building our GTM function at a high-growth company. You will have the opportunity not just to win business, but to build the processes and systems we need to scale as we grow the team and our offerings
- The Sales Enablement Specialist (RFP’s) is Ironclad’s leader for proposal management across the board. This individual will work cross functionally with Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Legal & Security to gather the resources for ultimately own the content to submit first class proposals [(Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs) and Vendor Security Assessments (VSQs)]
- Ownership of RFx & VSQ response for the GTM function. This will include project management of each proposal as well as the development and maintenance of top quality standard responses
- Develop bid qualification process in alignment with Sales Leadership to scale the function and ensure Ironclad is focusing on winning business
- Continuously improve Ironclad’s documentation content in collaboration with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Legal, Security, and others
- Identify and address content gaps or the need for additional media (language, images, video) and work cross functionally to drive improvements
- Maintain proposal process, company standards, and best practices to guide other team members to a successful and winning proposal!

Despite its success, Ironclad faces competition in the $3 billion contract lifecycle management industry from major players like DocuSign and emerging ones like Contractbook. The company recently announced Ironclad Signature, marking its entry into the $25 billion eSignature market. The new feature speeds up the signature process by an estimated 80% and provides summaries and approval histories to users. This new tool is expected to strengthen Ironclad's position in the sell-side contract lifecycle management market.
Additionally, Ironclad introduced value-based pricing, charging only for completed, signed agreements, unlike other providers who charge for every signature packet sent out. Ironclad, backed by investors like Accel, Sequoia, Y Combinator, and BOND, remains committed to innovating and maintaining its leadership in the contract lifecycle management space.
