Role
Who you are
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with candidates authentically and represent Peregrine’s mission, team, and culture
- Skilled at evaluating candidates' technical expertise and motivations through intake calls
- Naturally curious and creative in how you approach sourcing; constantly exploring new ways to uncover, engage, and bring in top technical talent beyond traditional channels
- Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies for senior and staff-level engineers, particularly across backend, distributed systems, data infrastructure, and AI/ML
- 5+ years of experience sourcing top talent in a fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Expertise in deep research across GitHub, technical communities, publications, open-source projects, and engineering networks to identify exceptional candidates
- Creative use of sourcing strategies to identify and engage exceptional technical talent across multiple roles
- Comfortable working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools to manage pipelines, track candidate activity, and maintain organized hiring workflows

- We’re looking for someone who knows how to map markets, build targeted pipelines, and engage world-class engineers; the kind of people building systems at the top infra and AI organizations
- You’ll partner closely with recruiting leadership, hiring managers, and engineering leadership to bring exceptional technical talent into Peregrine
Our take
The digitisation of emergency response organisations, data and incident reporting is speeding up, but this presents a problem if this information is not digestible. Emergency responders must be able to quickly translate and understand information as it comes in, or risk this faster flow of data being made redundant.
Peregrine is a data integration platform that improves emergency responses by making data more accessible, understandable and actionable. The platform can be used for public safety at different scales, such as building, city or region-wide. Its machine learning capabilities are also able to collate raw surveillance data, linking people, places and events to track targets or potential criminal activity.
With a founding team that boasts experience in both security and environmental risk analysis, Peregrine shows the potential to bridge the gap between tech and law enforcement. And funding is being channelled into accelerating the company's growth as it looks to double its employee headcount in the near future.
