Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, data, cloud, and related technologies, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

What the job involves

Contextual AI is looking for a Partner Development Manager (PDM) to join its founding GTM partnership team
This team is responsible for building and growing strategic relationships and product integrations with CSPs, ISVs, and GSIs to drive sales
The PDM should be a subject matter expert on AI industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape, as well as an expert on Contextual AI’s RAG 2.0 platform
They should be able to clearly articulate the joint value proposition to partners’ technical, marketing, sales, and executive teams
Additionally, the PDM should be able to create business plans and execute campaigns that align to partners' products, sales priorities, and marketing initiatives
The PDM will listen closely to customer feedback to identify joint use cases and product integrations that drive the adoption of Contextual AI offering through our partner ecosystem
They will also collaborate with external and internal product and engineering teams to identify product integrations customized to the strengths of each partner's platform
Lastly, the PDM will create content to showcase partner integrations to partner account teams, on customer calls and webinars, and at tradeshows and events
Establish and grow strategic partnerships, collaborate on GTM, and account mapping
Provide training and support to GSI, RSI, and SI partners, collaborating on enablement materials and GTM activities
Act as a trusted advisor to partners, build relationships with executives and sales leaders, and train their account teams
Represent Contextual AI and partner solutions to customers, ensuring their success
Distill feedback from partners and customers to help improve Contextual AI’s platform by working directly with internal and partner product and engineering teams
Act as the “Voice of the Partner” - regularly engaging them on status calls, educating on product roadmap, and managing escalations, while influencing product roadmap to reflect partner priorities

Founded by former Facebook research scientists, Contextual AI is building customizable, scalable and trustworthy Large Language Models for use by enterprises. Its main product is a tool to improve model performance so that users can build production-grade AI systems.

The backbone of this product is a technology that feeds curated information into AI models so that the LLM can have more context and up-to-date information. This helps to minimize AI “hallucinations”, an increasingly common problem for models like ChatGPT.

Contextual AI is currently working with companies in the finance, technology and media sectors. Following its 2024 funding round, the company has gained momentum, most recently announcing the launch of Agent Composer, a product aimed at moving enterprise RAG from experimentation to production ready AI agents.
