Who you are
- 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or related technical sales leadership roles in B2B Enterprise SaaS
- 3+ years of experience leading and scaling high-performing teams
- Deep marketing and industry IQ
- Extensive knowledge and experience in supporting the entire customer journey, from presale through to post-sale
- You are considered a thought leader within your respective company, among customers, and the industries they support
- Proven track record of working with enterprise customers and driving successful technical sales engagements
- Strong technical background in cloud-based software, APIs, and integrations
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience working in AI, machine learning, or automation technologies
- Passion for building and optimizing scalable teams and processes in a fast-growth environment
What the job involves
- As the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will play a critical role in leading and scaling our Solutions Engineering team, driving strategic initiatives to support our expansion into upmarket enterprise accounts.
- You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales to ensure that our solutions align with customer needs, improve product adoption, and accelerate revenue growth.
- This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic thinking to build a high-performing team that delivers exceptional value to our customers
- This fully remote role reports to the CRO
- Lead, scale, and mentor the Solutions Engineering team to support Jasper’s growth, with a focus on upmarket and enterprise customers
- Develop and execute strategies that align Solutions Engineering with sales goals, ensuring high-impact technical engagements that drive deal success
- Partner closely with Product and Marketing to provide customer insights, shape roadmap decisions, and refine messaging to resonate with technical and business buyers
- Establish and optimize best practices, tools, and processes to enhance team efficiency and customer engagement
- Act as a key technical advisor to strategic customers, influencing executive stakeholders and guiding them toward successful implementations
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team
Our take
Jasper allows enterprises to create written copy and content quickly for a range of purposes, from SEO rankings to ad conversions and social media posts across a growing list of languages.
While AI has been going mainstream across many industries, its use in creative content production, rather than content analysis, has largely been met with doubt. Jasper is attempting to up the standards with its writing assistant, which can generate original long or short form content based on a short brief.
With over 100,000 customers, Jasper is used by a number of high-profile companies such as Google, IBM, and Airbnb. While ChatGPT has been dominating the news space surrounding generative AI, it has significant limits resulting from overburdened servers and a long waitlist to use the product - whereas JasperAI provides faster results and is readily available. The company is well set to see further growth as it rides the rising popularity wave of generative AI.
