Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- MBA or a Master’s degree in AI, Data Science, or a related discipline is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years focused on AI or machine learning products
- Proven track record of launching successful AI products, preferably in a business functions context (e.g., finance, HR, operations)
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering business value
- Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Asana) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
- Experience with agile methodologies and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Strategic thinker with a passion for AI and its potential to transform business operations
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior team members

What the job involves
- Workday is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Product Manager to lead the development and management of AI-driven solutions for our business functions
- The AI Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to deliver products that enhance efficiency, decision-making, and overall business performance
- The AI Product Manager for Business Functions will be responsible for developing and executing the product strategy for AI-based solutions aimed at optimizing business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, etc
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, business function leaders, and other stakeholders, to ensure that AI products meet business needs, are delivered on time, and drive significant value
- Develop and articulate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI products focused on business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, etc
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI to solve business challenges and create value
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AI trends, technologies, and market developments to inform product strategy
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring that AI products meet business needs and deliver measurable impact
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to define AI models, algorithms, and data requirements
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, technical feasibility, and user feedback
- Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and ensure AI solutions align with business objectives
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Serve as the primary point of contact for AI products, addressing questions and concerns from stakeholders
- Drive user-centered design processes to ensure AI products are intuitive, effective, and easy to use
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that promote user adoption and maximize product impact
- Monitor product usage and performance, gathering feedback to inform future enhancements
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI products
- Analyze product performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure that AI products are designed with ethical considerations, including fairness, transparency, and data privacy
- Partner with engineering, data science, UX, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality AI products on time and within budget
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to resolve issues and drive product success
- Advocate for the needs and priorities of business users in the AI product development process
