Who you are
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related engineering field
- 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a large high pace tech environment
- Strong verbal and written communication — excellent ability to influence stakeholders and leadership through data-driven reporting
- Experience with scripting languages & SQL queries
- Proven track record of successful technical program management in high-performance teams, directing initiatives across multiple teams and managers
- Experience managing initiatives within large scale systems in rapid growth environments
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and technologies (e.g containerization, microservices architecture, continuous integration, and delivery)
- Knowledge of AWS and modern cloud architectures as well as security platforms and frameworks
- Self-drive and ability to create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

- The Compass Integrated Services (CIS) engineering team is at the core of driving our next phase of growth and platform evolution. We empower agents and their clients to seamlessly manage the entire transaction journey by offering a complete suite of integrated homeownership services. By building a standardized, "one-click" workflow, our team provides the technology and operations that power strategic partnered services—including Title & Escrow, Home Warranty, Mortgage, and Insurance—across a broad national footprint
- Delivering on this vision requires more than great engineering—it requires disciplined cross-functional execution across many internal teams and external partners, each with their own systems, timelines, and compliance constraints. Strong program leadership is the connective tissue that turns this ecosystem into powerful operational synergies
- This work directly drives agent efficiency and deeper client loyalty, ultimately leading to strengthened platform adoption, enhanced customer retention, and increased per-transaction profitability for Compass
- Lead large scale initiatives aimed at building the new products or platform for Compass
- Manage the full life cycle of key programs including coordination of detailed functional plans, communication with key stakeholders, and issue resolution. Create awareness of cross-functional inter-dependencies and establish prioritization for plan execution to minimize disruption on daily operations
- Champion with product, design, engineers, and operation leadership. Communicate with Executive Leadership on progress and risk
- Drive the strategic planning and execution of high-impact programs within our product development teams, collaborating closely with infrastructure and cross-functional groups across the company
- Plan, manage, and deliver multiple technical programs that may span multiple organizations and locations
- Act as a key contributor to the agile practice at Compass and high-level planning, both quarterly and yearly
- Drive, operational and cost excellence and process improvement across the organization
- Provide programmatic leadership for security initiatives geared towards hardening our real estate platform
- Create clarity and drive decision making with data and metrics through well-written executive-level and team-level narratives
