The company provides technology that allows ALS patients to interact with wearable devices and control the physical world through thinking alone. With development partners including Google, Microsoft, and Samsung, the system captures neuromuscular signals on the surface of the skin and combines them with machine learning and AI to interpret how people intend to move their hands.

Pison has raised money both through grants and traditional investment rounds. It has invested this in the development of multiple market-ready products including wearables and data analysis platforms for non-medical purposes. For example, its Pison PERFORM product is being adopted by USA Baseball in 2026.
