Role
Who you are
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our company
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA/CFA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a foundation or startup environment
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and reporting tools
- In-depth knowledge of treasury management and asset diversification strategies
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills, with a proactive problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to develop and maintain financial SOPs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Preferable experience in crypto payments
What the job involves
- The ideal candidate will ensure efficient financial management, maintain operational excellence, and contribute to the organization’s long-term sustainability
- Develop and optimize the financial operations infrastructure of the company
- Set up and manage proprietary fiat and crypto treasury capital and ensure asset diversification
- Process fiat and crypto invoices, payments, and reimbursements promptly and accurately
- Determine financial requirements for operations, including working capital, cash flow, and budget allocations for various departments
- Manage and monitor departmental budgets, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Conduct financial analyses, including estimating startup costs, operational expenses, and revenue projections
- Prepare corporate and management financial statements to meet reporting requirements
- Maintain and update the finance department’s SOPs to reflect current practices and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment and support organizational goals
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, proposing strategies for mitigation and growth
- This role will report to the Head of Operations
