Who you are

What the job involves
- We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator products with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Workplace & Recruiting Coordinator to support our mission
- Help manage the NY office’s daily operations
- Greet visitors when they arrive at the office
- Work with building management to maintain employee access
- Manage incoming mail packages
- Manage all office inventory
- Facilitate catered meals and food deliveries
- Help with event set-up, room turn-over
- Refresh supplies in team rooms, huddle rooms, and phone booths
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers promptly
- Ensure interview rooms are set up, technology is functioning, and interviewers are prepared
- Be physically present at the office during on-site interviews to provide logistical support and ensure a smooth interview experience
- Greet candidates, guide them through the interview process, and address any on-site needs or concerns
- Proficiently use our ATS to input and manage candidate information, interview schedules, and feedback
- Respond to candidate inquiries and communications within 48 hours, maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all candidate interactions, interview outcomes, and feedback
- Assist with other recruitment-related tasks and projects as needed
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the interview scheduling and coordination process
Our take
Creatives face two major struggles in the online space: getting eyes (or ears) on their work, and getting paid for it. Patreon was founded to solve both problems with a platform that would provide a space for creators to host and promote their work, and offer supporters a way to show their support through a regular paid subscription.
Patreon has been a leader in the content subscription space since its founding, but recently has come under pressure from newer rivals such as Substack and Ko-fi. It has maintained its position by shifting its focus from being primarily a marketplace for supporters to find creatives that interest them to being a toolbox for content creators to promote their work. While the site's creatives value this approach it remains to be seen whether Patreon will be able to return to the growth it was enjoying in previous years.
Despite the inroads made by competitors and a troubling global economic outlook making finances tougher for content creators and their supporters, Patreon is still a leader in its space, with over its over 250,000 active creators having made $3.5 billion through the platform. It is going through a period of downsizing to focus on its core business, and is continuing to hire talent to improve its product and expand its marketing efforts.
