Who you are

8+ years of experience in web design, with 3+ years in a leadership/management role
Portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, user experience, and product design
Strong understanding of design principles, user research, and human-centered design
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
Experience managing designers, providing constructive feedback, and guiding career development
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of design systems and style guides
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular)
Certification in design or related field (e.g., UX Design, Design Thinking)
Experience with design tools: Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, user-centered design methodologies
Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1)
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (front-end development)
Project management tools (Jira, Monday)

What the job involves

Manage a team of 3+ web and digital designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
Develop and implement design processes, standards, and best practices
Define and drive the visual design direction for web applications and marketing sites
Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products
Collaborate with product marketing, digital experience team, web developers, and other stakeholders to align design with business goals
Conduct design research, analyze user feedback, and inform design decisions
