Who you are
- Hands-On Implementation Expert
- Your willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and engage directly in both strategic and tactical execution will be crucial for driving operational excellence
What the job involves
- As the Head of Post Sales Engineering, you will be expected to take a hands-on approach of all go-live projects of Katanox, diving into the technical and operational details of our product
- You will be the primary point of contact for our buyers and suppliers product and technical teams after the agreement has been signed
- This includes personally leading implementation efforts, resolving complex technical challenges, and ensuring seamless integration across all teams
- The purpose of the role is to support buyers and suppliers going live in the Katanox platform and start trading
- In this role, you will work on diverse projects that encompass buyers and suppliers' specific needs and besides knowing the Katanox platform deeply you will work with various hotel connectivity solutions, including property management systems, central reservation systems, corporate booking tools and consumer booking tools
- By leveraging your technical insight, product knowledge and business sense, you will play an essential role in guaranteeing a smooth implementation process and maintaining open lines of communication with our buyers and suppliers technical teams and our internal teams
- In sync with Katanox growth you will establish a team of technical and sales support specialists to guide our partners and customers to take their applications to production with the Katanox hospitality trading and financial regulated product suite
- Lead buyer/supplier onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring smooth and timely integration of new buyers/suppliers
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main contact for buyers/suppliers, internal teams, and third-party providers to streamline onboarding
- Technical Implementation: Oversee and troubleshoot the technical integration of buyers/suppliers systems with the marketplace platform
- Process Improvement: Continuously optimize and standardize onboarding workflows for efficiency and scalability
- Merchant Training and Support: Provide initial training and ongoing support to buyers/suppliers to ensure successful marketplace operation
- We provide unique hubs in Amsterdam, London, and New York, where we regularly collaborate face-to-face, hold meetings, onboard customers and colleagues, hold design sessions, and host events
- We are held to exceptionally high compliance standards as a financially regulated company. These responsibilities demand a rigorous approach to collaboration, security, and decision-making
- Our hub model is successful because it enables us to connect and maintain the Katanox culture. Investing more time together improves our connection and collaboration. This is why we do not hire for strictly remote roles

Our take
Distribution within the hospitality industry has become outdated and untrustworthy. Katanox is re-piping this issue, by enabling a direct solution between travel sellers and accommodation providers, in turn providing more choices for travellers.
By providing direct contracting, travel sellers and independent online agencies' commissions will be significantly increased, and accommodation providers can take full control of their distribution by defining the terms of trade while also lowering their distribution costs. This results in Katanox being seen as an attractive solution for these companies.
Recently, Katanox secured a license from the Dutch National Bank, enabling the company to offer regulated payment services across the European Economic Area, streamlining transactions and cutting costs for accommodation providers and buyers. AS the company continues to expand its payment offerings and build products, this development sets the stage for significant growth and new opportunities in the hospitality industry.
