Who you are
- Accountancy qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CA or equivalent)
- Experience in Real Assets Fund Control, Structuring, Financial Reporting and / or Administration
- Experience in common structures for investing in UK real assets, such as unit trusts (Jersey) and UK Limited Partnerships and securitisation vehicles
- Commercially focused finance professionally with an interest in real estate, funds, sustainability, and investment management
- Experience working through complex new fund launches and transactions (acquisitions, disposals, private debt)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate and assist with decision making
What the job involves
- This role will be working as part of the Real Assets Fund Finance Team and reporting to the Fund Finance Director, Real Assets
- You will be working closely with the Aviva Investors Real Assets business, including Fund / Investment Managers, Tax and Performance and Analytics, as well as the firm’s key outsource partners’
- You will act as a business partner to Fund Managers for new growth funds / transactions within the UK, supporting on their structuring and set-up as well as being an escalation point for all fund finance issues arising throughout the transactions
- Your key responsibilities will be to partner with the Fund Manager and tax team to provide new structure support and set up particularly on key growth funds within the UK and support with the selection, statement of work engagement, onboarding, and budgeting for third party administrators
- Alongside this you will support the Fund Manager in providing liquidity analysis and cashflow forecasting
