Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning Engineering, with at least 1 year in a lead role
- Deep understanding of ML algorithms and optimization methods
- Strong practical knowledge of Python and SQL
- Understanding of Agile principles/experience as a Scrum Master
- Working knowledge of how to put ML models into production from research to deployment
What the job involves
- We are looking for a creative and experienced Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join our dedicated Data&AI team
- You will have access to huge data sets and an opportunity to create innovative ML solutions at the global level
- We write our ML code in Python
- We use MLflow and DVC for experiments and data versioning
- We rely on BigQuery and PostgreSQL for data warehousing
- When it comes to scheduling ML pipelines, we use orchestration frameworks like Airflow and Kubernetes
- Lead a team of senior engineers and data scientists
- Develop and deploy new machine learning algorithms
- Analyze the performance of current ML solutions and identify opportunities to improve
- Continuously improve delivery processes. This involves identifying bottlenecks, removing obstacles, and optimizing the team’s workflow
- Provide technical leadership, helping to elevate the quality of work across the team
- Collaborate cross-functionally to share findings and guide product development
