Our take
Dutch-based Circularise is a supply chain transparency software provider that uses blockchain technology to enable circular economy at scale. It built this solution with a unique encryption technology ‘Smart Questioning’ which enables supplies in chemicals, plastics, battery materials, and so on, trace materials and share their environmental footprint without risking data.
Following investment from the EU Commission, it is clear that there is increased demand for emerging technologies that work in the circular economy space. This capital enabled the company to scale projects with existing partners, such as launching MassBalancer to eliminate the administrative burden of bookkeeping needed for the mass balance chain of custody mode in the chemicals sector.
