Who you are
- Completion of a bachelor's or master's degree
- Relevant experience in consulting, startups or the energy sector is a big plus
- You are motivated to tackle a wide range of tasks and have a “hands-on” mentality
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Basic knowledge of financial analysis
- Very good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Good organizational and project management skills to control projects and drive them forward independently
- You can motivate yourself for the energy market
What the job involves
- As a Business Development Specialist, you play a crucial role in identifying and acquiring new customers
- Become part of a dynamic team committed to innovation and sustainability
- Your tasks will include proactively supporting customer acquisition, maintaining existing relationships and developing tailor-made solutions
- With your experience and passion for business development, you will help strengthen our position in the industry and provide our customers with sustainable energy solutions
- Work with the founder/CEO on all sales-related aspects
- Generate offers and manage the deal pipeline
- Act as a contact person for our distribution and sales partners
- Work as part of a team to identify, acquire, negotiate and close new partners and customers
- Work closely with our product, marketing and sales teams to further improve our offering and communication of benefits
- Participate in conversations with customers to improve your skills and understanding of the sales process
- Determine key KPIs and create dashboards for trawa to help the team learn and grow
- Create sales materials, from technical demos to sales presentations
Our take
The global demand for renewable electricity is skyrocketing, reflecting the new commitments that are necessary for cutting down carbon emissions. While most companies, including smaller ones, are seeking access to renewable energy, as it stands sustainable energy is only accessible to companies with larger financial means.
Berlin-based Trawa is looking to challenge this narrative by building a digital, data-driven energy provider that helps businesses decarbonise their electricity consumption. With a particular focus on SMEs in the manufacturing and processing sectors, Trawa is enabling companies to make the switch to green electricity and join a growing circle of enterprises committed to the future of sustainability.
The startup has secured substantial funding over the years that will help accelerate its growth. While Trawa is still relatively new to the scene, it's making waves in its mission to revolutionise renewable energy and looks set for a bright future.
