Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in finance, or performance improvement / BizDev roles or transactional services/ M&A
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills in English and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting is a plus
- Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, financial planning tools) is a plus
- Strong financial modelling skills is a plus
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality
What the job involves
- Join us as a Finance Business Partner where you will work closely with various departments within the organisation to provide financial insights, analysis, and strategic support
- This role involves partnering with business leaders to understand their financial needs, helping them make data-driven decisions, and ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals and objectives
- The Finance Business Partner will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, leveraging their analytical skills to drive business performance
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to business leaders, highlighting key insights and recommendations
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve business outcomes
- Own optimisation potential to a specific part of our Profit and Loss statement
- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between budgeted and actual results
- Collaborate with business units to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Ensure that budgets and forecasts are accurate, realistic, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
- Assist in the preparation of long-term financial plans and scenario analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Monitor and manage financial risks associated with business activities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

It focuses on one-to-one tutoring, letting students and their parents pick tutors for general support or exam preparation. Tutors are tested, vetted and interviewed before they can join the platform. The company has grown quickly, operates in numerous markets and earned Unicorn status in 2021.
This success was dampened by a report by lead investor Prosus in 2024 that the value of the company had decreased from €3 billion to about €970 million. This effectively stripped the company of Unicorn status, but it nonetheless continues to operate as a recognised force in the EdTech sector.
