Financial Planning & Analysis Intern, Coinbase

• Product Finance FP&A is a key function to support the revenue-generating product groups at Coinbase
• The team provide forecasting and variance analysis for all revenue and expense lines for the product groups, support with ad-hoc analysis to inform business decisions, conduct deep dives into important focus areas for the financial health of the business where needed
• Additionally, the team works with many cross-functional partners including Business Operations, Data, Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations and HR to identify risks and opportunities and explain performance
• What you’ll be doing:
• Build a model to accurately forecast revenue for a new or existing Coinbase product
• Identify the product drivers (macro conditions and controllable inputs) and build a model that captures actual results (if applicable) and forecasts future revenue
• Complete a deep dive on the correlation of Coinbase revenue, or subsets of revenue against different macroeconomics and crypto economy variables to identify the extent to which Coinbase revenue can be explained in terms of changing macro conditions
• Create a new dashboard to summarize key metrics to quickly evaluate year-over-year performance across Coinbase revenue lines
