Who you are
- The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- 4+ years of proven experience as an executive assistant or in other administrative positions
- Have the ability to manage complex schedules and prioritize tasks
- Be proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace and other office productivity tools
- Maintain strict discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Have experience in tech or SaaS environment is a plus
- Be open to a hybrid set up of 4 days in office
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support two senior leaders at Zoom. This role is pivotal in facilitating the efficiency and effectiveness of our revenue-generating activities
- Managing and maintaining calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Acting as a liaison between the executive and leadership team, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and timely execution of tasks
- Assisting in the preparation of meetings and presentations, including gathering necessary information and coordinating logistics
- Handling confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Helping LT liaise with key project work-streams, including tracking deadlines, deliverables, and action items. When projects are live
- Organizing and coordinating internal and external events, such as team off-sites, conferences, and client visits
- Processing expense reports and manage budgets related to travel, events, and office expenses

Our take
Zoom reworked video conferencing when most people assumed it was a solved problem, with services from Cisco and Skype already ubiquitous in workplaces and homes. However, its videoconferencing infrastructure was simpler to use, faster and more flexible than any previous solution, and it swiftly took the world by storm.
Its success bred competition, however, and companies such as Microsoft and Google, along with numerous smaller communications firms, have begun making inroads on Zoom's formerly commanding lead. Additionally, as workplaces are mostly adopting a hybrid or flexible working strategy, some of its importance as a workplace tool is wearing off and it is recording a gradual decline in daily usage rates.
To counter these trends, Zoom is expanding its business offerings through product development and strategic acquisitions. Alongside many other large tech companies, it has battled through a difficult economic situation, but it nonetheless remains a profitable company and household name. Plus, its track record of innovation means it is still very much one to watch in the communications space.
