Role
Who you are
- Self-starter with high drive and ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity for new technologies
- 5+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or a customer/partner-facing technical role
- Experience with cloud storage, object storage, or S3-compatible systems
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their storage services
- Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Desirable
- Understanding of AI/ML workloads and their data storage requirements (training data, model checkpoints, inference pipelines)
- Background in backup, disaster recovery, or data protection solutions
- Prior experience in an OEM or Technology Alliance Partner environment
What the job involves
- Wasabi Technologies is seeking a driven individual to provide pre-sales technical support for strategic partner opportunities
- You will work closely with our Business Development team, engaging with partners to help them evaluate, integrate, and deploy Wasabi cloud storage into their products and solutions
- Provide pre-sales technical support for OEM opportunities including discovery, assessments, and solution design
- Engage with OEM partners to understand requirements and architect Wasabi storage integrations
- Deliver product demos, POCs, and technical presentations covering Wasabi OEM platform capabilities (WACM, WACAPI, Custom Domains & more), account structure, and data management
- Validate API integrations and review technical logs during evaluation
- Support security and compliance discussions including ISO 27001 and data residency requirements
- Develop reference architectures, integration guides, and technical documentation
- Act as technical liaison between partners and internal organizations
- Support partner certification and validation of integrations
- Provide partner feedback to Product Management to influence the product roadmap
- Manage multiple partner engagements simultaneously
