BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field along with 5 years relevant experience

Environmental constraints on sensor performance (dust/dirt/ambient light)

What the job involves

As a Senior Sensor Systems Engineer, you will help develop sensor system ideas, plan and execute proof-of-concepts, and transition successful concepts to production
This role requires knowledge and hands-on experience with sensors, their evaluation and their integration into systems
This includes sensor physics and theory of operation, field-of-view planning, intrinsic/extrinsic calibration, environmental constraints, time synchronization and triggering, power supply design/selection, networking/communications, software drivers, robotic integration, and image/point-cloud/signal processing

As electric and autonomous vehicles become more prevalent, Kinetic is looking to support this mobility transformation with tech-enabled vehicle servicing.

The company operates a network of service centers that deliver digital maintenance and servicing for EVs and AVs. The centers are manned by certified technicians and powered by Kinetic's own AI, computer vision and robotics technology.

As cars become more software-reliant, vehicle repair needs a change - and Kinetic's solution certainly has the potential to shake things up. The company has raised substantial funds that will allow it to expand to meet the growing demand for EV and AV digital maintenance and servicing and support its newly launched Las Vegas hub.
