Who you are
- German proficient is a must
- Migrations experience
- Experience in technical consulting, with background of Atlassian toolsets is a must
- Scripting experience in Scripturnner or with a language like Groovy or Python
- Experience with system administration (e.g. Linux and Bash scripting) and database operations
- Experience in cloud infrastructure setup like AWS, Google cloud and Azure
- Strong written and spoken English language skills
- Experience presenting solutions to customers based on provided requirements
- Experience writing and contributing to technical reports
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills

What the job involves
- Our Technical Consultant will work as part of a team assisting customers in making best use of the Atlassian product suite such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related productivity technologies, such as Slack, in order to deliver value to their business or organisation
- This role will be helping customers to integrate systems, automate processes, and achieve efficiencies. This typically ranges from providing expert guidance and solution design to “hands-on” work with product setup, migrations, upgrades and performance tuning
- As an Atlassian Technical Consultant, the role will also take part in pre-sales - offering solutions, providing estimates and producing proposals. The position will naturally involve maintaining and improving knowledge of the Atlassian product suite, related technologies, and other collaborative tools such as Slack
- Atlassian Solution Consultancy
- Use knowledge of Atlassian products to gather and analyse requirements, research and present solutions to clients, and make suitable recommendations
- Communicate regularly with a range of stakeholders
- Participation in pre-sales, helping define scope and estimates for projects as well as helping in solution design
- Participation in internal knowledge-sharing and improvements
- Travel to client sites and working on site where necessary
- Atlassian Solution Implementation and Delivery
- Installations, upgrades, migrations for Atlassian applications and associated technologies
- Custom Atlassian solution design and implementation e.g., workflow, plugins/scripts, configuration
- Scripting solutions with languages like Groovy and Python
- Database administration and querying
- Web integration of Atlassian and other applications using Rest APIs
- System administration (Linux and Windows), particularly application servers

Worked as a Senior Security Consultant for Barclaycard, and was Director of WTG. First joined Adaptavist as a Board Advisor, and was made CEO in 2010.

Reece joined TAG as an Associate Software Engineer in May 2019. Within 5 months, they advanced to Software Engineer, then to Senior in under two years, and by September 2024, became Staff Engineer.
Sarah joined TAG as a Project Manager in 2017 in the Toronto office. They found their true calling in Sales and made an internal move a couple of years later and have since advanced to become a Strategic Sales Executive.
Rodrigo initially worked with TAG as a Contractor before joining the UK team permanently as a Commercial Operations Analyst. Since then, they moved to the Madrid office as a Business Operations Manager.
