Senior Software Engineer, EnergyHub

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with proven success at senior-level responsibilities
• Senior-level experience with the Java + Spring ecosystem
• Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and contract-driven development
• Strong experience in testing methodologies, and full SDLC best practices
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and working on challenging technical problems
• Ability to operate autonomously, providing technical vision and guiding the team toward scalable solutions

• Lead schema design and data flow architecture through a collaborative and inclusive process
• Build and maintain microservices and APIs that other teams confidently depend on, using contract-driven development practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, internal engineering teams, and other stakeholders to contribute to high-impact projects
• Mentor and support other engineers, fostering a strong technical culture of respect, open communication, and collaboration
