IT Specialist, April

• 2+ years of experience in IT roles
• Hands-on experience administering macOS devices through an MDM platform
• Experience with identity providers and SSO (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or similar)
• Experience setting up and supporting video conferencing and meeting-room systems
• Ability to work independently across time zones and prioritize effectively
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire

• April is seeking an IT Specialist who will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the internal systems that keep our team productive and secure
• In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day IT operation from user access and device management to troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• You’ll be a go-to resource for on-demand support, ensuring smooth onboarding experiences, accurate documentation, and clear communication across the organization
• This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to april’s technical foundation by supporting reliable, well-documented, and user-friendly IT systems
• This is a temporary, full-time role running from December 2026 to May 2027 with potential to convert to FTE
• Provide help desk support for US-based employees
• Own onboarding and offboarding for US-based employees, including equipment procurement, desk setup, and user provisioning
• Administer user access and devices across our identity provider, SSO, and MDM platform in a macOS environment
• Assist with security operations, including first-line EDR alert triage and evidence collection for SOC 1/2 compliance
• Maintain clear documentation for systems and processes
