What the job involves
- We turned Meta into our biggest growth engine by creating thousands of ads and learning from every one. Now we want to crack organic social
- You'll invent original formats for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Content that stops the scroll, links back to Smart SIM, and keeps people coming back
- With the support of the Head of Growth and Head of Brand & Marketing, you’ll run organic social end-to-end. From pitching the concept to scripting, shooting, editing, posting and reporting on what worked, it’ll be yours to lead the charge on
- Forget chasing trends. This role is all about relentlessly testing and learning to find repeatable formats that earn attention, again and again
- This is your chance to get people talking about content from one of the UK’s fastest-growing startups. Millions of thumbs are about to stop on your work
- You don't need years of experience or a marketing degree. If you know how to create content that stops people in their tracks, we want to hear from you
- Run organic social end-to-end - Script, film and edit content, all the way from idea to published post
- Invent original formats - come up with and create entertaining, repeatable formats that link back to Smart SIM and Honest
- Test relentlessly - Treat every format like an experiment, doubling down on the winners and losing the rest
- Scale what works - Rinse and repeat content within winning formats to grow followers and engagement
- Level up the team - Share what you learn with the wider marketing team to keep raising the bar across organic and paid content

Our take
Honest Mobile was launched in response to seeing a gap in the modern market for mobiles. Mobile networks were lagging behind, set in their old ways with complicated contracts, overcharging, and keeping customers on hold -being the norm.
To challenge this, the company built Honest Mobile from the ground up to create a better mobile network for customers and the planet. With £150k in funding, Honest Mobile has created the first carbon-neutral mobile network where customers can float between networks. And on top of this, its a registered B-Corporation and plants trees on behalf of its customers.
The mobile industry has many established players who have already spent time dealing with the challenges that Honest Mobile currently faces, like price competitiveness, WiFi functionality, and rural coverage. However, by aiming to capitalise on the consumer trend of eco-consciousness, which many of the existing companies in this space neglect, Honest Mobile aims to grow its customer base. Its performance on Seedrs, an equity crowdfunding platform for startups where it raised more than £3M in an oversubscribed campaign, shows that it is clearly gaining traction in the market.
With sustainability at the core of its mission, the company has released the UK's first recycled SIMs – made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. Honest Mobile's next step? Getting get rid of SIMs altogether!
