What the job involves
- We’re seeking a paid, part-time editor (20 hours/week) to partner with us on editing client-facing deliverables. This position is for remote work
- Editing is not just a 9-to-5 responsibility for you—it is a way of life
- Confidence in your editorial ability radiates from your ruthless keystrokes
- At a glance, you can tell the difference between a single space and a double space (the horror!), no matter the font
- Your editorial antennae are well-tuned, and no backtick gets past your inspection
- Your communication skills—verbal, written, interpretative dance-related—are unparalleled
- At Bishop Fox, you’ll be a trusted member of our growing and exciting editorial team
- You will be tasked with inspecting our deliverables and collateral for quality content using our in-house editing platform
- Each day, you’ll work independently and steadfastly with cutting-edge technology to meet stringent deadlines
- Of course, these aren’t just any mundane reports or presentations
- These deliverables encompass some of the coolest hacks in the industry; this is the sort of content you may have only otherwise encountered in headlines

Cybersecurity software is used by many businesses across the world to mitigate their cyber risk, yet breaches are still common. A prime reason for this is the lack of visibility businesses have into the roots of their IT and data stacks, making it difficult to truly understand and prevent future attacks.
Bishop Fox sets itself apart through its offensive cyber threat prevention platform which is focused on applying a "forward defense" approach (with risk visibility and prevention instead of reaction). The company achieves this by mapping IT stacks to facilitate real-time visibility of attack perimeters, applying complex real-world cyber threat scenarios to assess resilience, and conducting continuous attack emulations.
The attack surface management category has grown in importance in recent years, especially for software. As a result, the market has become increasingly crowded. Bishop Fox has, however, raised impressive funding, which is being used to grow its team and expand its product offering in order to further set itself apart.
