Role
Who you are
- We are seeking a commercial and tech savvy Sales Manager EMEA for DV360 opportunities, based in London or Dublin
- Creative, passionate, resourceful, bright, proactive, motivated, and a superb team player are some of the numerous attributes that constitute an ideal “Outbrainer”
- Candidates must be a hard-driving dealmaker with the ability to source/build a revenue pipeline and be able to move potential prospects consistently from start to finish
- Candidates should also be energetic self-starters who enjoy working directly with clients, proactive in delivering the best possible customer experience and committed to creating new business opportunities in a dynamic environment
- A consultative dealmaker who can manage direct brands and advertising agency groups
- Individual contributor who loves to pitch Outbrain's solutions to Google/DV360
- The preferred location is London or Dublin
- If you're a former Google or DV360 employee - that would fit perfectly!
- Good relationships with clients and agencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to present ideas/concepts effectively
- Strong analysis and synthesis capacities, including excellent comprehension
- A great communicator who can respond quickly in a fast-moving environment
- Deep knowledge of digital advertising space, media and Ad-tech
- A motivation to participate in the Outbrain adventure!
- Ability to navigate, communicate and manage with both internal and external stakeholders
- Prior experience with Salesforce, Tableau, and other productivity-related tools will be a bonus!
What the job involves
- Report directly to the Director Partnerships Brands & Agencies EMEA
- Working closely with your team and management to achieve revenue targets, as well as to identify emerging trends in the marketplace
- Drive revenue growth by continuously prospecting, closing and scaling advertisers in the sales pipeline
- Manage a growing pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked
- Delivering insights and strategy for clients to truly understand the value of Outbrain
- Delivering sales presentations to all levels of direct brand and agency groups
- Raising awareness and building Outbrain’s profile with the advertising agencies and direct brands
- You will be part of a brand new sales opportunity at Outbrain with one of the biggest growth areas for the EMEA region
- 2-3 Days within the client's office in Dublin is expected because you will "own the relationship", from an operational and day-to-day point of view

Outbrain is a web advertising platform that displays what it describes as ‘chumboxes’ within the pages of many popular websites. Most Internet users will have encountered this recommended content when browsing articles.
Outbrain was sold to AOL for $363 million in 2007, as the nascent market for clickable ads grew. Outbrain’s main competitor is Taboola, and the two were on the verge of merging in an $850 million deal, before this collapsed in September 2020.
This digital ad agency is attempting to rival some of the biggest corporations on the planet, with both Google and Facebook heavily invested in this arena. Despite criticism for ads that resemble clickbait, Outbrain has attracted $194 million in funding from contributors such as Index Ventures, Carmel Ventures, Gemini Israel Funds, and GlenRock Israel.
Often regarded as an alternative to Google AdSense, Outbrain has continued to secure lucrative partnerships and release new features and products to its roster. It operates in over 55 countries, and supplies around 344 billion recommendations per month - strong evidence that it has cemented its place in the market.
