• Commercial chops: you’re great with prospects, clients, and partners, with a track record of success selling something (products, partnerships, ideas, raising capital)

• Intellectually curious: you’re always learning, asking questions, trying things out first-hand, with clear examples of self-learning and picking up new info fast
• AI fluency: you’re actively using AI tools and integrating them into your work

• We’re looking for a Special Projects Lead to join BrightHire
• This is a high-stakes role reporting directly to the CEO, where you’ll help tackle the company’s most important opportunities and challenges for stretches of 2 weeks to 6 months at a time
• Your first mission will be to drive growth for a new product, quarterbacking 0-to-1 from the business side: driving growth plays, supporting sales, onboarding new clients, making those customers wildly successful, and ensuring we’re executing on plan to hit our goals
• After that, you’ll tackle projects such as determining how to deliver strategic insights to our clients at scale, supporting major strategic partnerships, applying AI to unlock efficiency in our internal operations, helping to surge recruiting for critical new roles, and more
• This is a demanding role—it’s not 9-to-5 and we are a fully remote company (though the preference is for a candidate based in the NYC area or easily able to travel there)
• It requires autonomy, high agency, and excellent judgment
• It’s a great fit for someone who thrives under pressure and wants exposure to every part of a business hands-on and in-the-weeds
• Think of it as a founder-in-training role: after ~24 months, you may evolve into a Chief of Staff, product or BizOps leader, or start your own company
• Lead priority initiatives, owning them end-to-end from definition to measurable impact, delivering with exceptionally high quality and urgency
• Drive high-growth for a new product: drive growth plays, support sales, onboard early customers and ensure their success, and build repeatable processes
• Create leverage for other teams and leaders in the organization, supporting their priorities with deep analytical rigor, intense drive, positivity, and humbleness
• Operate as a trusted extension of the CEO, deeply understanding the business end-to-end, surfacing important context, opportunities, and challenges
