What the job involves

As a senior full-stack engineer, you won’t just be building software—you’ll be working directly with our CTO and CEO (as product owner) to shape the future of Cloudshelf’s platform
You’ll have the autonomy to make architectural decisions, optimize performance across distributed systems, and ensure shoppers and sales teams have instant access to the right products at the right moment
This is a pivotal role, laying the foundation for future team members and scaling the technology that will power a new era of retail

E-Commerce has seen a huge rise since 2007, and this has accelerated exponentially as a direct result of the events of a global shift in 2020.

Cloudshelf wants to hop on the trend of buying online whilst supporting retailers. Its solution? Bring e-commerce into store spaces. The Cloudshelf platform connects to Shopify, creating an in-store experience that shoppers can use to select products that they could not necessarily find, or sales associates can use to help drive shopper choice.

Other big brands are taking on a version of combined AI with retail. For instance, Amazon launched Amazon Fresh stores to help shoppers make instant purchases.

Cloudshelf's platform is a smart way of ensuring the comfort and accessibility of e-commerce can happen in-store. As the company begins to connect with other platforms as well as Shopify, Cloudshelf looks set to grow its market.
