BS/BA degree, Computer Science major preferred
5+ years engineering / development experience on the back end in a fast paced, agile environment
Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, JVM based programming, Kafka, React preferred

What the job involves

Customer Success Portal is the team that makes Figure Technologies' enhancements to how we deliver the best results to our customers
Working at the intersection of blockchain and lenders, you will consult with our partners to translate business processes and write software to integrate their applications into a blockchain world
Drive innovative tech solutions adhering to iterative principles
Originate, champion and execute on new ideas for projects
Collaborate with project leads and other software engineers across multiple teams
Work with Figure Product and Engineering teams to collaboratively improve our platforms, bringing customer experiences and ideas to the table
Work on software solutions that will transform the consumer lending and blockchain space
Be a leader, use your voice, apply your tech skills to solve real world problems

Our take

Figure is the largest non-bank provider of home equity lines of credit, disrupting the lending industry with its blockchain platform, Provenance. The platform works as a registry, ledger, and exchange; handling loans, mortgaging, private credit and private investment.

The company is one of few that offers users the option to leverage their cryptocurrency assets to get loans or mortgages. Betting heavily on the cryptocurrency market has presented both its ups and downs for Figure, but a successful IPO in 2025 suggests its position nowadays is steady.

As digital assets continue to gain mainstream acceptance, there should be ample opportunity for Figure to expand its reach in the future. The company's IPO was supported by Goldman Sachs, Jefferies and BofA Securities, and raised an impressive $787.5 million.
