Role
Who you are
- 10+ years of progressive experience in an account management role, specializing in B2B solutions for large law firms. Experience selling data solutions is preferred
- Strong ability to cultivate relationships and forge strategic business partnerships, consistently surpassing net retention targets
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding quota and retention targets
- Exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and respond promptly to multiple ongoing workstreams
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a proven aptitude for conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Experience with Salesforce
- JD preferred
What the job involves
- Octus is currently seeking an experienced and strategic account management professional to join our Legal Account Management team
- The Senior Director of Legal Account Management will manage and cultivate strong relationships with large strategic law firm accounts throughout the Midwest & East Coast, with a focus on subscription renewals, expansion, uplifts, and cross-selling of additional Octus' products
- Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for a book of existing strategic AmLaw50 clients
- Drive key client interactions, with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on expansion opportunities within accounts, aiming for a net retention target of 115%+
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and an unparalleled customer experience
- Work closely with Octus' product team to identify and opportunities for product enhancements
- Employ meticulous tracking and analysis of KPIs and product usage on accounts to formulate and implement appropriate relationship management strategies and territory planning
