Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred
- Must have a fundamental understanding of accounting principles, prior exposure to CAS or FAR accounting is a plus
- Previous Aerospace and Defense experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail
- Systems implementation experience preferred
- Prior NetSuite experience preferred
- Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory
- Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs
What the job involves
- As the Operational Accountant at True Anomaly, you will be responsible for all aspects of operational accounting, including oversight of our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- This role will own and support the Procure-to-Pay Process and the Order-to-Cash Process, while assisting with the setting up of Purchase Orders and posting of Accounts Payable Vouchers
- You will regularly reconcile open Purchase Orders, work with the business to resolve stale purchase orders, prepare billing schedules and monitor when AR invoices need to be submitted to customer and manage/monitor collections. You will be an integral team member in maintain the health of our accounting operations
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Support and facilitate new vendor approvals
- Prepare and submit account receivable invoices
- Prepare and post vendor payments
- Manage and monitor accounts receivable collections
- Post cash transactions and prepare cash reconciliations
- Support month-end close processes and prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
- Process, monitor and reconcile purchase orders
- Review and post expense reporting transactions
- Support annual audit request as assigned
- Other duties as assigned

With impressive capital gained in 2023 and 2025, the company validated the Jackal's technical and operational capabilities and made the necessary investments to scale production. And with its most recent capital injection, the company is ready to fund space missions and further scale its operations.
