What the job involves
- In this role, you will offer key support to the Operations team with all the daily operational tasks and contribute to various development projects
- Within our team of 5, you will be trained to gain a strong fundamental understanding of the financial industry, concepts and processes in a broad sense
- Monitor and process corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, etc
- Transaction Monitoring
- Manage accounts and process internal payments
- Reconcile (align) trades, positions and cash balances
- Investigate and fix trade, position and cash breaks
- Provide trade support to the first line of defence
- Communicate and collaborate with cash, clearing and trading partners
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, business intelligence, finance and customer support

Keeping up with the evolving investment space, the company launched BUX Crypto in 2022, granting its thousands of users access to trading cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.
Also in 2022, the company purchased the retail arm of neobroker Ninety Nine, with all its existing retail customers moving over to BUX. This has significantly bolstered its Spanish marketshare, as it moves ahead with a strategy to double down on its flagship application and help clients build long-term wealth moving into the future. The sale of BUX's Cyprus arm to Coinbase in 2024 will allow BUX to hone in on market presence and product capabilities.
