Who you are
- Degree-level education or equivalent relevant work experience
- Demonstrable in-depth experience working within a digital organisation
- Proficient in the use of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest Ads Manager and Tiktok Ads Manager
- Expert knowledge of current digital marketing best practices and strategies
- Proven track record in delivering performance in highly competitive markets
- Clear understanding of cross-channel activities, their benefits, and how they can integrate and complement each other
- Proven experience in developing client insights, anticipating future industry changes, and staying ahead of the curve
- Excellent in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace skills, specifically Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs, and PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Ability to consistently demonstrate innovation and initiative in approach and execution
- Proven ability to work to and meet simultaneous deadlines, and to lead a team in achieving these deadlines
- Impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Strong mathematical and analytical mind, capable of manipulating large data sets
- Highly organised with strong project management abilities
- Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to negotiate, build client relationships, and set clear expectations
- Ability to autonomously identify opportunities, generate ideas, and formulate strategies
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing direct reports, motivating, and inspiring a team
- Experience in line management, including developing a team, mentoring junior members, providing training sessions, and cultivating a positive working dynamic
What the job involves
- Collaborate with Paid Media Manager/s and Executives to develop and execute paid media strategies that drive client success
- Lead the creation and implementation of client Account Development Plans (ADPs) within your portfolio to foster client growth and establish industry leadership
- Innovate new ideas, techniques, and products to enhance client strategies. Conduct test & learn initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Impress clients through innovation, knowledge sharing, and insights that exceed their expectations
- Establish and uphold high-quality processes for paid media fundamentals, including optimisation, budget management, daily checks, and best practices
- Provide guidance and support to team members on technical queries across paid media platforms, resolving client challenges effectively
- Directly manage a team of Paid Media Executives and Managers, conducting 1:1s and bi annual reviews. Mentor new team members to ensure they become operational in their roles quickly and efficiently
- Monitor team journals to ensure profitability and resource efficiency
- Work with the Paid Media Account Director and Strategy Director to identify new growth and revenue opportunities across the teams client portfolio
- Support and lead on new business opportunities as needed
- Participate in interviews and contribute to the recruitment process
- Manage and direct training and development initiatives within the team
- Advocate knowledge sharing across the organisation, driving cross-channel processes and tool utilisation
- Innovate new technologies and ways of working. Monitor market trends to support internal growth and efficiency strategies, contributing to the development of the tech roadmap
- Oversee regular and ad hoc projects within the team, ensuring timely and successful project delivery
- Advocate company policies and processes across all endeavours, maintaining alignment with organisational values
