Role
Who you are
- Experience in managing Microsoft 365 and Active Directory (GPOs, Azure-Connect, user lifecycle)
- Proactive mindset and a service attitude, interested in providing end user support, with strong problem-solving skills
- Quick adaptation to new technologies and enjoyment of optimization and automation
- Excellent communication skills with a good level of English and Dutch language, other languages are a plus
- Experience with common operating systems, hardware, meeting room equipment, wired and wireless networks and related services
- You should hold a driving license valid in the Benelux region
What the job involves
- We are a growing team looking for an IT Systems Engineer in the IT department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics
- As an IT Systems Engineer, you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like providing on-site and virtual remote IT support to our employees, maintaining on-site systems and our global IT services and help bringing IT at sennder forward
- You’ll be collaborating closely with the whole team to provide excellent IT service and support, matching sennder’s IT SLOs. In this role, you will …
- Deliver on-site IT service in alignment with IT guidelines and SOPs
- Keep local ITC systems up-to-date and up and running
- Ensure meeting rooms on-site are working
- Ensure devices, resources and licenses are used efficiently
- Deliver virtual remote IT service for other offices
- Prepare computers for assignment and prepare for reassignment after return
- Keep track of IT stock and initiate restocking, repair, recycling or secure disposal of broken gear
- Handle IT asset inventory updates

The global freight industry is massive, with estimates of its size ranging from $8 trillion to $12 trillion annually. Freight forwarding — the process of organising how and where items will be shipped around the world, and specifically the technology that underpins that work — continues to be a huge area of the logistics market.
Sennder, a digital freight forwarder focused on transporting cargo around Europe, is working towards becoming one of the biggest players in the European market. Sennder's current strategy, following major funding, is to expand rapidly, building upon existing expansions including Cars&Cargo, Uber Freight Europe and Everoad.
Although it is one of the most well-funded of the freight forwarders, Sennder will face direct competition in Europe from the likes of Zencargo, as well as international pressure from international giants such as the US' Flexport. To keep them ahead in the market, Sennder must ensure it keeps on top of developing tech such as fleet management systems and the use of the blockchain to manage automation. As well as this, they must battle with an increasingly climate-conscious consumer base putting growing pressure on the logistics industry to cut down its environmental costs. Ensuring it keeps a balance between performance and innovation will be crucial to Sennder's success going forward.
