Role
Who you are
- Proven sales leadership experience in the automotive/mobility sector or a related digital/tech environment
- Deep understanding of dealership economics and operations
- Experience selling to dealership groups and working directly with decision-makers
- Track record of hiring, developing, and, when necessary, letting go of salespeople
- Ability to work independently in a fast moving environment
- Comfortable balancing leadership with hands-on execution
- Natural coaching instincts and a habit of joining customer conversations when it matters most

- You will have built a sales organisation that combines ambition with structure, scales impact without losing quality, and sets the standard for how digital automotive solutions are sold in this market
What the job involves
- This role is remote for candidates based in the DACH region, with occasional travel to our offices as agreed
- Reports to: CEO
- Strategic Impact: Take full ownership of our most important growth region, with clear accountability for revenue growth and market penetration in DACH
- Market Transformation: Become a change agent in how leading dealership groups modernise their business
- Scope and Autonomy: Operate with real decision-making power and clear accountability for results

- Own the commercial performance of the DACH region
- Build, develop, and scale a strong, ambitious sales team of Key Account Managers
- Lead pipeline creation, deal execution, and structured sales planning across the region (field-sales, video meetings, industry events)
- Coach your team through customer conversations and deal strategy
- Maintain high standards for activity, CRM hygiene, and accountability
- Act as regional ambassador at industry events and strategic forums
- This is a hands-on leadership role where you set the standard, lead from the front, and create the conditions for your team to succeed
- What You’ll Focus on First:
- Conducting 1:1s, ride-alongs, and in-person meetings to understand your team and customers
- Refining our sales pitch and shaping how we communicate value in the DACH market
- Mapping and activating high-potential dealership groups
- Strengthening the team with well-chosen hires and solid onboarding
- Personally closing at least one strategic account and directly intervening to prevent at least one high-risk churn

Our take
The market for price comparison sites continues to grow as the world has digitised globally, and it has a commonplace expectation to compare before you buy. The car comparison site in particular has flourished, becoming a popular avenue for finding insurance and vehicles alike, which is where AutoUncle steps in.
Plenty of competitors swamp the market, including Gocompare and MoneySupermarket. However, whilst other sites also hold space for buying and selling used cars, AutoUncle's dedication of their platform to used car trading on a global scale marks it out from the crowd.
Alongside a universal growing interest in greener lifestyle changes, the demand for used cars continues. Although the EV market is getting more attention, if AutoUncle can keep its cars affordable, it should be in a good position moving forward.
